Fireworks restaurant opened in 2008 by the same team that brought you Max’s restaurant, Metropolis Wine Bar & Cocktail Lounge and The Moveable Feast catering company. We have been working hard ever since to offer Brattleboro, Vermont the best, most affordable dining experience possible throughout the year.

At Fireworks we use only the best ingredients available to us at all times. Whenever possible, we use organic produce and humanely raised meat and poultry from small local producers. Our cheeses are all whole milk cow, goat and sheep cheeses from Vermont and Italy and we use San Marzano tomatoes. You will taste the difference in what we use and how we cook it.

Our guiding principle is to make wonderful simple food that highlights the natural flavors of these quality ingredients. The unique heat produced in our 700 degree stone oven releases rich, dynamic flavors from our thin crust pizza and many other dishes. With great food, we hope to offer you great service in a friendly, comfortable and unpretentious environment.

Fireworks was named by the editors of Yankee Magazine “the best new Italian restaurant in New England” for 2009. It was chosen as the best Italian restaurant in Brattleboro by the readers of the Brattleboro Reformer, and called a “top Vermont foodie destination” by Vermont Life Magazine.

Christopher Kimball of “America’s Test Kitchen” television show and “Cooks Illustrated” Magazine calls Fireworks one of his “top go to spots in Vermont” and chef Matthew Blau “one of a small handful of great chefs in Vermont”.
